AILMENTS, ACNE, ARTHRITIS,

Kaushik Sutra the only treatise on Atharvveda referred these three in
sutra 25 part 1 to 32 part 26,27 and profounded by Kaushik paddhati and
there it explains the theory of life that how we can live within the world
without diseases for the long span of 116 years as referred in Sam Vedic
chandogya Upanishad chapter 3 in section 16 and Shloka 1 to 6, How we are
to live in the lore of Vedic life so simple, sacred, pious, moral and
restrainful in respect of our daily life, our diet, our faith and dedication
according to the believes tried scientifically by the Vedic Rishies how
they lived so long life and remembered orally and wrote too much for us. Atharvveda refers towards the diet of the
Saptrishis
Rigveda chapter 10 Sukta 39 Shloka 4 reference gives us real knowledge how a
Rishi
Kanya (Daughter) of Kakshivan Rishi became of the age of sixty years then
she prayed to Ashwini Kumars the Vedic Vaidyaraja's brothers then by taking
the receipt they gave to her, she became like a sixteen years young, beautiful
and healthy girl and was married to a great rishi reference Rigveda
chapter 10 Sukta 40 Shloka 9.
The seer of the third chapter of
Rigveda who gives us the greatest Mata Gayatri mantra identified first of all
hundred important herbs, shrubs and plants and thousand associates thereof
and from that period we have the Vedic people carried on their research
and scientific approvals on 120 diseases as mentioned in the Kaushik Paddhati
in which general, epidemic, hereditary. ( genetic, kshetriya ) Even a
remedy for fury , wrath, anxiety, stress, strain, depression, tension
which is too real help for us in this period of uncertainty, zeal, craze,
jealousy, enmity and restlessness which we are facing today. Atharvveda
gives us instructions about thousands of years back which are effective
today. The reference is MASH (rajmah), MANS (meat, egg and fish), MADHU, This have two meanings
(1) Sweet (2) Wine, Sweet thing means Sugar and
Wine means those things which gives us toxicity and narcotics and SALT
(LAVAN)
are prohibited.
MASH,
MANS, MADHU, LAVAN These four things are the root cause of all the diseases
prevalent today. Now today at this time if we need a life simple free
remaining in the lap of nature having familiarity identification of the
Fenna and Flora we will really use them according to the references given
in the scriptures, under a well known Vedic person. We will live
for 100 and more years we will see for 100 years and more we will listen
for 100 and more years and be bodily independent will not be dependable
on any person and may live more than 116 years.
The research which was started by Vishwamitra the
head in the chronology of Kaushiks has been brought up to the present
generations. The work was started with the identification of Vishanka
the king of the herbs in the Rigvedic times was brought up to this generation
Pandit Wishveshwarnath ( Bashesharnath) Kaushik identified Phenksheeri
as medicine of plague epidemic and trills were made on 1947 when the town
was in the grip of epidemic, none of the persons who took this medicine
died.
Where as more than 50 persons died who did not believe it.
Keeping the tradition alive
I Ved Kumar Kaushik
has identified Kuri (Kusthnashini) for leprosy and cirrhosis and madhuchyut
for sugar, Rishbha for heart and liver and Dharva for pacification of
brain Gandhmadhini for heart, arteriosclerosis, cholesterol tumor and
Banbasini for falling graying and weakening of hair, Sanjivni for total
cure and immunity of body.
The important diseases are as follows :-
Some of the prescriptions and formulae given in
the great ayurvedic books like Charak, Shushrut samhita, Baghbhut, Bangsen,
Brindsangreha are all based on the individual testing of the writers of
these books and the other ones are only the repetition and exchange and
interchange of medicines. When these books were written the Rishies (writers)
along with their disciples used to collect the medicines with their own
hands according to the ancient tradition. This was the main cause of their
results and success.
In these days the medicinal and aromatic plants
are collected through the traditional method but not according to there
readiness. The pharmaceutical standard which were adhered to collect the
drugs. Thus there is no hard and fast rule which can give us a quality
material. The plants are collected when the labour is available and the
collectors are free from their own works and when the traders come to
them. The collection of the roots, rhizomes, tubers is done in a way where
the entire area of such plants destroyed. Mostly the result is that they
have collected the herbs immature and undeveloped. There is no activeness
in their ingredients. When they are plucked according to the Vedic tradition
the period of maturing and developed as refereed in Yajurveda chapter
18 Shloka 14 and chapter 22 Shloka 22. For example elephant apple (Kapitha)
and Harad BAHERA AMLA AND BILE take one year to ripe and herb kakamachi
is mature with in two and half months the collectors must have such knowledge.
It is a great wonder the luminaries rose from the
western orbit with different movements enlightening separate space patches
of the Vedic land of Saptsindhu who made known the Vedas to the whole
world. Those to whom we owe our great respect and tributes are WILSON REV, Mr. STEVENSON
AND Dr.RORE ( ENGLISH) Dr. ROSEN (LATIN) M. LANGLOIS (FRENCH).
A minute study of Vedic literature concerning Indian
medicines, literature, grammar and other Vedic branches of knowledge
were researched deeply by the German Max Molar, A. Weber, M. Winteritz,
A.B Keith and J. Gonda and other topics were relating the Vedas were deeply
researched by Roth, Whitney, Lanman, Webber, Griffith, Bloomfield, Caland
and J. Gonda. Out of these the great name who worked for Atharvedic studies
in the field of ancient Indian medicines tradition are A.F.R Hoernle,
T.A Wise, H.R.Zimmer, P.C. Ray, J.Jolly, J. Filliozat, R.F.G Mueller,
G.N Mukhopadhyaya and H.E Sigerist.
This all research indirectly leads to ayurveda
because ayurveda is one of the part and parcel of Atharvveda. But no
deep research is done on the ayurvedic scriptures that is Shushrut and
Charak etc for the last 2000 years and the formulations coming from that
time are given to the patients AS GRANTHIC MEDICINES.
Where as the lifestyle,
our diet have totally been changed. Ayurveda is the Upveda or Atharv Veda
but it unfortunate that the medicinal literature linking both has become
extinct. There is no trace of such writing for the linking of both. The
most important remedies are mentioned here which have the right and correct
treatment in Atharvveda. Where as there is no certain, definite and absolute
result oriented management for these in any of the prevalent modern therapies
including Ayurveda.
